About
how it started
It all began with a compost pile and a love of design. After leaving the interior design world, I longed to reconnect with nature. I moved to the West Coast and discovered permaculture, which sparked a deep desire to work with the earth.
I found myself living next door to a flower shop, and the rest unfolded organically. With perfectly good blooms rescued from discarded weekly arrangements, I foraged to my heart’s content and began arranging flowers in my tiny home next door. It quickly became a passion I couldn’t live without.
Seven years and countless hours later—fully immersed in what florists call anthomania—I took over the studio, along with that luscious compost pile, and renamed her my beloved, Pollen & Company.
who I am
I am an interior designer turned florist thanks to the wild west coast: the sound of rain, salty air & starry nights, little mushrooms, big mountains and the song of the ocean. Surrounded by nature with flowers in hand is my happy place.
